About 13 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main in offline mode all over India.
The online mode of the paper would be conducted on April 15 and 16 this
year in India.
Out of these candidates, only about 2.2 lakh candidates would be shortlisted to appear in the JEE Advanced 2018, giving them a chance to compete for 10,000 seats in the various Indian Institutes of Technology or the IITs.
JEE Main 2018 paper 1 in offline mode was held at different centres located in 112 cities throughout the country .
